CULTURE & HERITAGE
Medu-Ndah-Ndah culture
Languages, traditions and remarkable sites of the Ndé division.
OUR LANGUAGES
Four languages, one culture
The Medu-Ndah-Ndah cultural sphere brings together four languages spoken in the Ndé division, West Cameroon:
- Medùmba Batongtou
- Nda’ Nda’ Ungameha
- Nda’ Nda’ Undiemeha
- Kwa’
Passing them on to young people born or raised in Canada is at the heart of our mission.

TRADITIONS
A living heritage

Dance and choir
Traditional dances, fashion shows and our choir bring our events to life, coordinated by the cultural activities lead.

Chiefdoms and Ndop
The chiefdom, its notables and sacred places shape traditional life; Ndop cloth is worn at major ceremonies.

Food
Our tastings introduce the rich Medu-Ndah-Ndah cuisine to the wider Canadian community.
